Ryan Gosling And Emily Blunt Star In 'The Fall Guy' Trailer

Today marks the day that movie-lovers all around the world were gifted with the first insight into David Leitch's upcoming movie 'The Fall Guy'.

Over the past few years, Leitch has shown his incredible talent as a director within the action/comedy genre. The American filmmaker is responsible for audience favourites such as Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, and even 2022's Bullet Train.

'The Fall Guy' stars Ryan Gosling as a mysterious stuntman who's life takes a change in chapter the moment he is employed to work on his former-lover's movie set, played by Emily Blunt.

Although it may not seem like it, this is actually the first production in which these two A-Level actors have worked alongside eachother. This usually isn't a duo you would originally picture together, but judging from the trailer, their chemistry seems to be pitch-perfect.

Gosling and Blunt are also joined by familiar faces within the film industry such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Winston Duke and Stephanie Hsu who is right off of the back of her first Academy Award nomination for her work in 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'.

From first look, this movie seems like it is destined to be a brilliant mix of both action and comedy. Which is generally speaking two genres that can be found difficult to blend together. But when the fine line between the two is discovered, it can be a piece of art.

And given the work Leitch has produced over the last decade, who better to direct it?

Believe it or not, David Leitch actually has his own personal history within the realm of stuntwork on major productions. The filmmaker was employed as Matt Damon's stuntman on 'The Bourne Ultimatum', as well as held the responsibility of getting blown up and pulverized as Brad Pitt's stunt double in 'Fight Club' and 'Mr And Mrs Smith'.

Therefore if Gosling was in desperate need for someone to turn to for tips on how to perform as an on-screen stuntman (although he did it already in 'Drive'), all he must do is turn to the man stood behind the camera shouting orders at him.
