Natasha Lyonne Is The Latest To Join Cast of Marvel's 'Fantastic Four'

One of the most highly-anticipated projects of 2025 takes shape through the form of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's much-needed reboot of 'The Fantastic Four'.

Matt Shakman is set to direct the project following the success of the first ever Marvel x Disney+ Limited Series 'WandaVision' back in 2021, whilst Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, Eric Pearson and Ian Springer are attached to the screenplay.

So far the movie is set to include an all star cast, with popular names such as Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm) all teaming up to form the iconic quadruple of superheroes.

The latest addition to this already impressive list of cast members is none other than Natasha Lyonne. The 45-year-old actress is more recently known for her work in television on projects such as 'Russian Doll' and Rian Johnson's 'Poker Face'.

Despite the official announcement of the actresses involvement with the project, the character that Lyonne is set to portray still remains unknown. But this hasn't been an unfamiliar sight so far with this movie, as Paul Walter-Hauser and John Malkovich have also been cast in roles that are yet to be announced.

The 'Fantastic Four' quadruple have featured in a small handful of cinematic productions throughout the 21st century, but this will be the first to take place within the realms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

20th Century Fox produced three films starring the family of heroes, starting off with 2005's 'Fantastic Four' and then 2007's sequel 'Rise of the Silver Surfer'. All before the box-office bomb that was Fox's rogue attempt at rebooting the franchise which starred Miles Teller and Kate Mara.

Seeing as though this project isn't expected for cinematic release until the summer of 2025, Lyonne is next set to star in Taika Waititi's adaptation of the novel 'Klara And The Sun' alongside Amy Adams and Jenna Ortega.
