Barbie Drops Bonkers New Trailer - Revealing All Star Cast

Fans, of both young and old, all around the world have been waiting in anticipation for any further news or insight regarding the upcoming Barbie movie, directed by Greta Gerwig.

In December 2022, Warner Brother's dropped a teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated movie. But all this did was leaving audiences wanting more, and with a head full of questions.

Very little news has been released about this upcoming production of Barbie. All we really knew that it is directed by Greta Gerwig, and that she is joined by her Husband, Noah Baumbach, with screenplay responsibilities, and that it stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

Until today.

Within the last couple of hours, WarnerBrothers finally dropped the official trailer for the first live action Barbie movie - and from first looks, it seems to be building some excitement amongst fans.

One of the first questions to arrive to the people of the world's minds after having their first taste of "Barbie", back in December was whether the film will be a serious movie or not.

And after the most recent trailer drop, the answer is certainly not.

It goes without saying that we can expect the film to have a heart-warming and moving storyline at the centre of it, which we know Gerwig and Baumbach are more than capable of given their last few productions, but something like Barbie - we have never seen them handle.

The trailer opens with a plan view shot of "Barbieland", what seems to be the fictional location in which the film takes place. Where everyone within the realm of Barbieland either goes by the name of Barbie or Ken.

Although the trailer still refuses to reveal any hints as to what the films plot will entail, fans now have a much better understanding of what they will be getting themselves into as they walk through the cinema doors this summertime.

With big names such as Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling at the steering wheel of this bonkers and entertaining joy ride, the cast list is already impressive.

But the stunning selection of actors that lie within the supporting cast of this production, make the film's call sheet all the more overwhelming.

With names such as Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Emma Mackey, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae and Kingsley Ben-Adir, fans are destined to have a hell of a time come July 21st.
